Fescue, Fine Fescue and Bent Grass - both green's grade and tee and fairway heights.

2x5 feet rolls equaling to 10 square feet a piece

Each weighs approximately 40 lbs

The thickness of sod is approximately 2 ¼” to 2 ½” (3/4” for the soil and root systems, 2 2/2” to 1 ¾” turf.)

Pallets

500 sq. ft. (50 pieces per pallet) – weighs approximately 1 ton

Rollout

Rollouts are offered on sites that are flat, wide open and have at least 100 ft runs. Minimum for rollouts are 5,000 sq ft. Rollouts can be performed with a forklift or a track machine. We allot 3 hours for the 1st 10,000 sq ft and 1 hour for each additional. Our driver will unroll from the machine but a crew needs to be supplied to pull the pieces together tightly and do all the cutting in.

Forklift

Each trailer is equipped with a forklift which is used to unload both pallets and large rolls. Clearance needed for the forklift is approximately 98” in width and 9’ in height for pallets and 98” in width and 11’ in height for large rolls.

Cancellation Policy

Since sod is a perishable good, orders not canceled within twenty four hours of delivery or pick up will be the customer’s responsibility.
